Residential property prices in Indonesia increased by 0.69% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2026, slightly above the 0.62% rise recorded in the previous quarter, which had been the weakest growth since the series began in 2003. This modest improvement was largely supported by stronger gains in several cities, although performance across housing segments remained mixed.

Annual price growth for small houses eased to 0.49% (down from 0.61% in Q1), and for medium-sized houses to 0.83% (from 0.88%), while prices for large houses accelerated to 0.68% (from 0.50%).

Of the 18 cities surveyed, 10 reported faster annual house price growth. The sharpest turnaround occurred in Samarinda, where prices rose 3.23% after a marginal 0.03% decline in the previous quarter. At the other end of the spectrum, Pontianak remained the weakest market, with prices falling 0.10% after a 0.27% drop in Q1. Batam, meanwhile, continued to post one of the strongest annual increases, with prices up 2.63%.
